November 20, 2025
With the blessing of Metropolitan Feognost of Kashira, Metropolitan Ambrose of Tver and Kashin, and Metropolitan Vladimir of Donetsk and Mariupol, the humanitarian mission “March of Peace” set off on its 55th charitable expedition to deliver aid to the historic regions of Russia!
In the very near future, we will donate seven carved icons of St. Nil Stolobensky to churches in the Donetsk and Mariupol dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church.
These icons were consecrated on the holy relics of the saint in the Epiphany Cathedral of the Nil-Stolobensky Desert. These wonderful images (30x40 cm in size, in shrines) were created by the outstanding sculptor Vasily Selivanov,
a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, a member of the Russian Art Union, and a member of the International Art Fund.
The icons were created in memory of Roman Ozerov, a soldier who died heroically in battle on February 2, 2025, during the liberation of the village of Dachnoye in the DPR, a devotee of the Nilo-Stolobenskaya Desert, and are being donated to:
· to the Transfiguration Cathedral in Donetsk;
· to the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God Derzhavnaya in Kurakhovo (where our comrade Roman Ozerov appealed to all of us to change our lives, seeing that the city was completely destroyed, while the church remained virtually untouched);
· to the church in the village of Dachnoe, where Roman died;
· to the Church of St. Alexander Nevsky in Mariupol;
· to the Holy Trinity Church in Mariupol;
· to the Holy Transfiguration Church in Volnovakha;
· to the Holy Dormition Nikolo-Vasilievsky Monastery.
In addition, during the humanitarian expedition, we will donate 3,000 printed icons of St. Nil Stolobensky.
These icons, also consecrated on the relics of St. Nil Stolobensky, will be distributed free of charge to pilgrims, parishioners, and all those in need of spiritual comfort and strengthening of faith in the aforementioned churches of the Donetsk and Mariupol dioceses.
The charity fund “Call for Help” has joined our mission on this expedition, which will allow us to expand our assistance and support even more people in need.
Together, we will deliver not only spiritual support, but also substantial material assistance—food, medicine, essential items, and clothing for residents of the liberated territories.
In Mariupol, we will launch a new and important initiative: we will provide hot meals to everyone in need.
On Sunday, our free humanitarian canteen will be open in the Bukhta restaurant on Primorsky Boulevard.
We are also bringing branded equipment with the Peace March logo for members of the Mariupol Boxing Federation, all of whom are volunteers for the Peace March mission.
This is not our first experience organizing celebrations. We understand perfectly well how such moments of joy help children and adults feel cared for and supported.
In May 2022, in the newly liberated Mariupol, we organized a celebration for children and their parents with tea drinking at the zoo.
On June 1, Children's Day, we organized an “Ice Cream Day,” gave out warm jackets and gifts at the Meeting Place café in January 2025, and celebrated the third anniversary of the mission with Cheburashka in April 2025.
On this expedition, we will bring everything necessary to see the delight in the children's eyes once again. The expedition participants will also bring essential items to specialized boarding schools.
As part of the 55th expedition, meetings will be held with families raising children with cerebral palsy and other serious diagnoses.
Parents will be offered free rehabilitation for their children at the Russian Rehabilitation Center “Detstvo” of the Ministry of Health of Russia in Moscow.
The program is designed for 20 days and, in addition to rehabilitation, includes accommodation, meals, and transportation.
We will visit our elderly wards in nursing homes to give them care and support.
As is tradition, we will visit our heroes on the front lines. The soldiers will receive medicine and gifts.
All this has been made possible thanks to our reliable partners and volunteers, such as MPZ Myasnitsky Row LLC, Belevskie Sladosti LLC, the transport and logistics company GK RTS, Formula Sveta LLC, Pishcha Zhizni Company, VPK LLC, GalVent Ventilation Factory LLC, PromResurs LLC, Zov Pomoschi Charitable Foundation, Community of St. George the Victorious Cathedral (Odintsovo, Moscow Region), Donskaya Novo-Gundorovskaya Community, Rostov Region, Commercial Center LLC, Videoglaz Center LLC, Vesta Real Estate Agency LLC, RusExport Consortium, Meeting Place – Bukhta Holding (Mariupol), Gus-Lebedi Restaurant Complex (Mariupol), volunteers Alexei, Ekaterina, Fedor, and many others, as well as small and medium-sized business owners, caring citizens, and our heroic drivers, who have been contributing to the humanitarian activities of the Peace March mission for over three years.
I would like to express my special gratitude to Alexander Belikov, Alexander Zhurkin, and Maxim Bogdanov.
Today, I would like to say a word of thanks to every person who has given a piece of their soul and their savings to help those who are on the front lines!
I also thank my entire family and the family of the heroically fallen Roman Ozerov, who help and support me in this activity.
“March of Peace” means that peace, which we so eagerly await, is coming to our land, our souls, and our destinies!
We thank everyone for their help and prayers!
